Our Journey
Starting in a Boarding Room
Our journey began with the founder’s — Emmanuel Glodias Boggy Sanjaya — deep fascination with the unique genetics of Leopard Geckos. Started as a small-scale breeding hobby in a boarding room while he was studying Mechanical Engineering at Gadjah Mada University evolved into a long-term commitment.
Official Establishment & Professionalization
Upon graduation, driven by passion and a clear business vision, the company was officially established in 2017 (initially under the brand “Sanjaya Gecko”), with its first breeding facility located in a boarding room in Mlati, Sleman. We applied a measurable engineering logic to track animal lineages, enabling us to produce premium-quality morphs.
Global Expansion & Official Legal Status
From a modest collection of pets, we grew rapidly into one of Indonesia’s largest breeding centers, managing over 7.000 captive-bred animals of our own. This growth was solidified by our incorporation as Sanjaya Reptile Indonesia, allowing us to secure official government permits to import and export over 300 species — ranging from endemic reptiles to other exotic animals such as amphibians, mammals, and invertebrates. Today, our distribution network spans the globe, covering key markets in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. We continue to strive to bring joy to the world through exotic animals.
